Post Clock arrives by post or courier as a small box that contains its components. On arrival the customer needs to assemble the clock using the shipping box as it’s body.
The signs of its journey and differently arranged labelling make each clock unique and personal. It is intensional that the clock box has marks, crumples and print from the shipping process.
Instructions to assemble:
– Watch film showing opening and assembly below
– Open the box carefully using a sharp knife and remove all contents of the box.
– Remove the sticker covering the ‘hand stack’ hole from the inside of the box wall.
– Carefully unpack the mechanism and hands.
– Find the rubber washer and place it over the hand stack.
– Fit the battery into the clock mechanism.
– Place the mechanism into the box and put the hand stack through the hole.
– Put the metal wash onto the hand stack and then the hexagonal nut. Tighten the nut until secure.
– Starting with the short hand and finishing with the second hand, carefully press each onto the hand stack in turn.
– Be sure the hands turn freely.
