Forest bench part of ’10 years of contemporary creation’ exhibition.
This summer the ‘Cité internationale de la tapisserie’ hosts the exhibition ’10 ans de création contemporaine’ a celebration of ten years of contemporary tapestry creation, actively supported by the museum; since it’s creation in 2009 as the guardian of French tapestry and place of UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.
The Forest bench designed by Sebastian Bergne for the collaborative collection The Great Lady with Ymer & Malta and the ‘Cité’ is part of this exhibition, one of circa 40 pieces that trace the development of contemporary tapestry design over the past ten years. More about Forest can be seen here.
